SEO expert · SEO consultant · Denver, working nationally
An SEO expert should be able to show you his own rankings.
Mine are public. So are my companies, my reviews, and the AI answers that name them.
I'm Zach Wennstedt. I've done search engine optimization since 2012 — first for my own companies, then for clients through the agency I founded, Eye To Ad Media. One of my own companies holds three listings on a single Google page for its core terms and gets named by ChatGPT for competitive national searches. If you want an SEO consultant who has actually had his own money on the line, that's the résumé.

What an SEO expert actually does in 2026
Found. Chosen. Called.
Ranking was the whole job in 2015. Today an SEO consultant works three surfaces — Google's organic results, the Google Maps pack, and the AI answers from Google, ChatGPT and Perplexity — and then has to make sure the visit turns into a call. Anyone still selling you "rankings" is selling you a third of the job.
Organic search
Pages built to answer the real question for each service and place, fast, structured, and linked so Google understands which page matters. Not a blog nobody reads.
Google Maps
The map pack sits above everything for local searches and moves fastest. A finished profile, reviews that name the service, service areas that match how customers actually search.
AI answers
ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI cite businesses they can verify: consistent facts, direct answers, structured data, real mentions. I put clients through the directory and press platforms we own so the facts are findable.
How I work
Founder-led. Tested on my own companies first.
Every method I use for a client was used on one of my own businesses first — because I have been burned by agencies too, and I won't sell what I haven't proven. The agency side of that work is Denver SEO at Eye To Ad Media, where campaigns run $500–$3,000 a month quoted to the business; the consulting side is me, personally, when a company needs a second opinion, a strategy, or an in-house team coached.
What I won't do: guarantee rankings (nobody honest can), buy links, publish AI filler, or itemize a method that changes every month. What I will do: show you the live work, tell you the truth about your site, and say "you don't need me yet" when it's true.
"If an SEO expert can't show you his own rankings, he's a writer."

Questions
Hiring an SEO expert
Agency campaigns at Eye To Ad Media run $500–$3,000 a month, quoted to the business, with a $100 entry point. Consulting — strategy, audits, coaching an in-house team — is quoted per engagement. The first conversation is free and often ends with 'here's what to do yourself first.'
Both, honestly. I founded and run Eye To Ad Media, a Denver SEO agency; I also consult personally for companies that want the founder, not an account manager. You'll talk to me either way.
Google Maps often moves in 30–60 days. Organic and AI visibility usually take three to six months to become a steady source; the most competitive terms take longer. Anyone promising page one in 30 days is describing a term nobody searches.
Yes — 43 cities across the US, Canada and Australia through the agency, and nationally by phone. Search works the same everywhere; the local signals are what change.
Nobody can promise a citation. I can make a business eligible: consistent facts, direct answers, structured data, and mentions where AI reads. My own companies get named by AI assistants for competitive national terms on exactly that method.
Then I'll say so. Half of the businesses that call about SEO have a conversion or follow-up problem, not a ranking problem — and fixing that is cheaper. That's the conversion optimization conversation.
